THE SWORD OF DAVID II

THEN IT BEGAN TO GET JUST A LITTLE BIT CRAZY....NO..A LOT CRAZY. MANY BEGAN TO FEAR US. WELL, IN TRUTH THEY BEGAN TO FEAR WHAT WE WERE BECOMING. YOU SEE, OUR EVOLVING INTO THE HIGHER BEINGS WAS TANTAMOUNT TO LEAVING THEM BEHIND. TOO SET IN THEIR WAYS TO FOLLOW, THEY CHOSE TO CUT THEMSELVES OFF. NOT FROM US, FOR THEY DID NOT KNOW, COULD NOT KNOW WHO WE WERE. THEY SIMPLY SUSPECTED EVERYONE, TRUSTED NO ONE...

In truth, we meant them no harm. In fact we couldn't bring any living thing to harm, not deliberately or unjustly. All we could do was redirect their misdirected energies back in their direction. Their own misdeeds became their downfall. But don't think for a moment our protective devices discouraged them. At least not in the earlier days. They sought us with a passion, only to regret it once they happen to encounter one of us, which was rare, and usually of our own choosing.

Besides, by then most of us could wield the Sword with a startling proficiency reminiscent of an early Errol Flynn swashbuckler. You see, by then we also had a passion -- the Everlasting. Used properly, the Sword did eventually deliver everlasting life, depositing one safely beyond the physical reality, transcending any threat, any hint of death or destruction.

Then seemingly out of nowhere came the rumor saying we coveted the Sword, jealously hiding the secret of its power. And despite the tireless efforts of those who had lingered behind to direct latecomers, they would not be convinced otherwise.

Well, it was only the beginning. They began to develop all kinds of invasive practices, from stormtrooper assaults, relentless grillings and beatings, to mass incarcerations and even unexplained disappearances, perpetrated mainly against their own people. While, for all intent and purpose, we were invisible, simple common-place individuals found in every walk of life with no outstanding characteristics. Of course indignant denials followed. But even they were as lacking in conviction as their efforts were in success as they relentlessly pursued the power.

It was ridiculous. The Sword had no power. Not in that sense of the word. The Sword merely conveyed a principle that allowed one to harness the untapped power of his or her own mind.

NOTE:  THE TREATISE THAT HAS COME INTO YOUR POSSESSION IS NOT AN ABSOLUTE. IT IS RATHER AN EFFORT TO REDIRECT OUR ALL TOO FAMILIAR TENDENCY TO SHOW OUR WORST SIDE IN ANY NEW EXPERIENCE. IT IS PUT FORTH COMPLETELY UNREVISED TO HOPEFULLY DIFFUSE JUST SUCH EVENTS WITH A FAR GREATER OFFERING.... dama

Each time the Sword was unsheathed, one experienced a realization in the desired's manifestation. And each realization was a mind-expanding energy, a conscious awareness. Each mind-expansion unveiling greater abilities, ever greater realizations. We were evolving.

What they couldn't seem to grasp was that until one actually took the time to decipher the Sword at their own level of understanding, apply it to the mind to a point of recognition of its yield, there simply was no power.

And the charge of coveting was beyond belief. For many or even most of mankind had been given the Sword right from the beginning. And yet, despite our efforts, we could not hope to convince them the Sword was not a magical steel blade of some sort. They were relentlessly searching (among themselves) for these things, which of course didn't exist. Then when they couldn't find any such weapons, they became even more frustrated and dangerous, taking such frustration out on any and everyone within reach. Mostly, the innocent.

That was when it all went ballistic. On one hand we were the enemy. While on the other, their rescuers, their heroes. For more times as not, we found ourselves using the Sword to protect many who had spoken and even acted against us from their own people.

Soon, outwardly helping the enemy, we, in a sense, became our own enemy, aiding those who were indeed our adversaries.

It was the nature of the Swordbearer, All lesser states of consciousness and conditions became incidental to the survival of the whole. In light of the Sword, it was never good against evil, one of which had to prevail, but the whole of an evolving mankind which must prevail.

Suddenly bewildered by our actions, our adversaries renewed their efforts to seek us out. Only this time they sought our help against their kindred with many reporting being queried as to who and what we become...and how.

But by this time, most of us could wield the Sword completely undetected. Whenever we encountered imbalance or injustice, our actions became swift and decisive with balance, even harmony quickly restored. Of course, such agility made our detection even more frustrating, forcing those who sought us out to refer to old original documentation pertaining to the Sword.

The earth was indeed a rest station for those of us who remained free, traveling from one reality into another, exploring the whole of life's divine offering. It was what we were, what we did..

For eons, many of us, far too many to even contemplate, have experienced rebirth here, rebirth back into the flow of life's eternal stream. Most come to this station by way of the womb. But not all, and not always.

Believe it or not, they actually began to study previous records of our efforts to share from the beginning that which was never ours alone. It was never our intention nor the intended. The Sword Of David  represented a redemptive effort in mankind's behalf to restore his Edenic paradise.

Well, I imagine that we all came into the greater undertanding about the same time. The sword was indeed there for all of mankind. And yet, it could only be perceived by those who truly sought it out, demonstrated a sincere desire for it, or what it offered. A path that leads beyond the mundane into the sublime.

Once this realization set in, things began to move far more swiftly. In short order, the holdbacks became a new minority, yet under the protection of this growing majority....a protection mainly from themselves, of course.

Did we try to push them along? No, not once. We realized the Sword comes upon us in our own time. And besides, we now had all the time in the world. In fact, most of us were beyond time, beyond any limits of energy or space with an ever-growing number having distanced themselves well beyond the worlds of matter.  We were the homeward bound.
