A Crash Course In Practical Metaphysics

Starting a business or website? Short on advertising dollars? Don't panic! Whatever can't be done financially can probably be accomplished metaphysically....

          WEBSITE PROMOTION? USE YOUR REFRIGERATOR!

Basic Metaphysics: "The Mind Believes What It Sees!" And incredible as it seems, the mind not only believes what it sees, but it will respond inkind, delivering an experience based directly upon such observance.

Hard to believe? Without a doubt. But think about this for a moment. There are millions of us all across the planet that burn an untold number of candles yearly in pursuit of one need or another. Upon what belief is such efforts based? Religion? Superstition? Perhaps, but it is also basic metaphysical principle. Each time the mind observes the candle burning, whether consciously or subconsciously, it associates that burning candle action with a delivery of the desired.

Does it work? Well, I doubt seriously if the millions would expend the effort on candles over the centuries without some substantiation of the practice. But that is only one example. Life is filled to bursting with a myriad of applications of the principle. Look around you. See what your friends and neighbors are doing. The principle abounds and hope springs eternal.

                                   A Smoking Hot Website

But burn a candle for your website? Wait, don't laugh! It has to be better than doing nothing. And given the principle does indeed work, burning candles might actually have an impact upon your website visitations. Still, we have an even better principle application for your perusal...er..to examine.

For instance, with over 300 million websites on the web and counting, you have a desire to draw some attention to your elaborately and probably expensively constructed website, upon which your hopes and dreams of an abundant future are now hanging.

Don't feel badly, many spend big bucks hiring agencies to handle marketing and promotion of their website efforts. While other less financially endowed are racing from one free search engine submission offer to another, or hurling themselves into a myriad of banner exchange programs and email (no spam) listings coops, desperate to catch the roving eye of the surfing masses.

Well, take heart. The solution may indeed be as close as your friendly refrigerator, demanding not one dollar or no real effort on your part. First, you must ask yourself, "What is the desire?" It is to bring your website into the spotlight, illuminate its presence among the hundreds of millions, draw attention to its existence.

They (we seldom know who "they" are) say the solution is ever to be found in the defining of the problem itself -- "to bring my website into the spotlight!" Well, let's have at it. Grab one of your old popsicle sticks (or a simple strip of tape). Write the name of your website on it. For all intent and purpose, it is now your website. Look, it says so, right there! Now, place it strategically in your refrigerator, positioned to fall directly under the blaze of the refrigerator's inside light. Ah, I see you are with me at last. Right...each time the refrigerator door is opened, your website is bathed in a blaze of light, illuminated, made visible.

                                                 A Prevailing Principle

Balderdash, you say? Whoa, hold on there. We are working with a basic principle in Metaphysics -- "the mind believes what it sees". The mind will amazingly, and more times then you need (or most likely care) to know, incredibly accept the unacceptable, make possible the impossible with the right presentation, based upon this simple principle. Consciously, then subconsciously it observes the action. In this instance, the bathing of light each time the refrigerator door is opened. The mind will, must record the action time after time, day after day, not of and as someone simply looking for a snack, but, with a minimum of prompting from you,  as the continuous illumination of your website.

Remember the more familiar metaphysical principle -- "for every action there is a reaction"? It too is at play here. The mind, creator of your experience, must at some point deliver that reaction. Have you ever noted how many times your refrigerator is opened during the course of an average day, a week? Yeh, right! Better double that figure. Even the dog knows how to get it open these days. The more the better. For the mind must acknowledge the action and act upon it.

There is one important aspect of this application that must be taken into consideration. You see, you must first get the conscious mind  to acknowledge why it is opening the refrigerator. Right, to illuminate the website. It will take several runs  to get the conscious mind to remember what it is doing each time you (or someone else) happen to open the refrigerator. Honestly, I tried it. But it does come to pass. It becomes a conscious act, no matter what other reason you have for opening that door. And only when the conscious mind readily accepts that greater designation of the action (without "second thought") can it be passed on as that designation to the subconscious mind for delivery of the desired. It may take a little practice, but it doesn't take long.

                                           All Encompassing

The most beautiful aspect of this application is the total lack of expended effort on your part. Plus, if there are other efforts simultaneously underway, even their impact is compounded, made that much more effective as each becomes a possible recipient for the anticipated "reaction" to your almost effortless action. The very most you are doing is learning of the unique relationship between your conscious and subconscious minds...and basic metaphysics.

Sooner then one would think, some almost insignificant event suddenly begins to unfold. Someone, for one reason or another, has happened across your site. Something strikes their interests. They pass their discovery on to like-minded acquaintances. And the rest is history, case..er..refrigerator closed.

Of course, with the use of such principle, comes the demanding responsibility of "right choices". For there is ever another principle at work here -- "whatever goes around comes around". Or its more familiar, "whatever you do comes back to you, one-hundred fold".  Always use proper discernment in your choices. Strive diligently to bring a wealth of joyous abundance to those you serve, assuring the same to you in return.
